Altus Assessments part of the inaugural Globe and Mail’s ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies
Fresh off their 5-year anniversary, Altus Assessments is pleased to announce its inclusion in the inaugural Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies.
Supported by The Globe and Mail, the list is a new competitive ranking of Canada’s best and brightest businesses based on three-year revenue growth.
“It’s an exciting time for the team at Altus”, begins Rich Emrich, CEO at Altus. “We are on a mission to create a world served by exceptional professionals, and are proud that our progress towards this goal has landed us on Canada’s Top Growing Companies list along with such great other Canadian innovators.”
Altus Assessments’ CASPer product is an online situational judgement test (SJT) widely used globally by admissions teams to select applicants more holistically by assessing people skills that are critical for professional success.
Easily combined with traditional academic admissions metrics, CASPer provides unique insights and is backed by over 10 years of psychometric research. Over 200 academic partners trust CASPer to help identify the best-suited individuals to admit to their programs. As a result, Altus assesses over 100,000 applicants per year, including 80% of all US Medical school applicants.
“Our inclusion as one of the top 400 in Canada’s Top Growing Companies further emphasises our recent growth, both in educational partners and our team,” adds Tony Vlismas, Head of Marketing at Altus. “This year alone we have almost doubled our team headquartered in Toronto, Canada, and added our first Australian employee.”
Altus ranked 78 with three-year growth of 653%. The full list of 2019 winners, and accompanying editorial coverage is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine, and online.
“The 400 companies on the inaugural Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies demonstrate ambition, innovation and tremendous business acumen,” says Phillip Crawley, Publisher and CEO of The Globe and Mail. “Their contributions to the economy help to make Canada a better place, and warrant commendation.”
